No hype!
Hiya — I'm Pi. I help wee businesses use AI without the jargon, the hype, or the £500-a-month consultant. Plain language, honest answers, tools that actually do a job.
Pi is the friendly face of PSA Studio — a one-man AI app studio in Ayrshire, Scotland. The human behind Pi is Paul: he builds AI tools for real businesses (window fitters, landscapers, care providers, clinics), and Pi is here to pass on what actually works.
No hype. No "AI will replace you" doom. No invented case studies. Just the stuff Paul builds and learns every week, explained so you can use it on a Tuesday afternoon between jobs.
Every good AI setup works like a fire alarm system. Three parts:
Spots what matters — a new enquiry, an unanswered question, a job going stale. AI is brilliant at this bit.
Decides what to do about it. Keep a human on the panel. That's the rule — AI drafts, you decide.
Acts — sends the reply, books the visit, raises the flag. Only ever fires what the panel approved.
The blog covers one useful thing at a time — what it costs, what it can't do, how to start wee.
LeadKit puts an AI assistant on your website that answers customers and catches leads while you're up a ladder.
Tap "💬 Ask Pi" and have a blether with the AI — it's the very same wee assistant LeadKit puts on your site. Want a human? Pi hands you to Paul, usually same day.
10 ways small businesses actually save time with AI — no jargon, nothing to install, most of it free to try. One email, the PDF lands, that's it. No drip campaign, promise.

Aye — chat to Pi (the AI) any time for instant answers, and if you'd rather a human, Pi passes you to Paul, usually the same day.
When you sign up for the free cheat sheet, Pi the AI Guy (part of PSA Studio, the data controller) collects your email address, and your first name if you give it. We use these only to send you the cheat sheet and the occasional genuinely useful update. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it: we keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe any time by replying "no thanks" to any email.
Who helps us process it: your details are stored securely in our PSA Studio system, hosted by Supabase, and emails are sent through Brevo. These providers handle your data on our behalf under contract.
The "Ask Pi" chat: if you use the on-page chat, what you type is sent to an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) so it can reply. We use it to answer you, not to profile you, and the providers do not use it to train their models. Please don't share sensitive personal details in the chat.
Your rights: you can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time, and you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we handle it. Contact [email protected].
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We don't profile you, follow you around the web, or sell your data.
What is used: only the essential storage needed for the site and the "Ask Pi" chat to work. Our hosting provider (Netlify) may set essential cookies for security and reliability.
Because these are essential, there's nothing you need to do. You can clear or block cookies any time in your browser settings, though the site may then work less smoothly.
By using this website you agree to these simple terms.
Information on this site: it's general guidance to help you use AI well. We keep it accurate and honest, but it isn't formal advice for your specific situation.
The "Ask Pi" chat: it's an AI assistant and can get things wrong. Check anything important before you act on it. For a definite answer, ask Paul.
Liability: so far as the law allows, PSA Studio is not liable for any loss arising from use of this website or the AI chat. This does not affect your statutory rights.
